- KFC Fly-in Breakfast

A number of people who helped at today's event in Kingston were also working behind the scenes at the Westport fly-in yesterday. While this sort of back and forth help between organizations is not unusual, but it nevertheless highlights the strength of community in grass-roots aviation. These are hard working ordinary folks who enjoy a hobby enough to make it available to others they don't even know.

The pictures below show the hungry flyers as well as a few of the people that made it happen. Specifically, kudos go out to Darren, Brad, Gord, Charles and Eithne along with Dave and Lois. By the way, that's Dave King's replica of a Fiesler Storch from WWII that he brought in from Picton to show us.
