Radio procedures have pretty much the same goal world-wide.
The idea is to let the folks both on the ground and in the air know where
you are, and what you're doing.
As all of the most common radio procedures follow this simple rule, if you
forget the exact phrasing of a request - don't worry, just remember the
underlying reason for talking on the radio. Let them know where you are, and
what you're doing.
Now that said, there are common phrases most often used, and here's list of
the ones used at Normon Rogers Airport (typically used in class E
uncontrolled airspace).
